The night before Naomi’s wedding we stayed up way too late doing Naomi’s side of the slideshow and we found her old Hi5 account. Show of hands, who still has theirs active? I think I deactivated mine because mine didn’t show up, but oh my heart, I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time!
Abbie was sleeping sound asleep in the bed next to ours and we (Ani, Naomi and I) were laughing with tears, because we had realized that Naomi’s first love was Babydollz, her lab puppy that ran away from her. I think she smothered her with too much love. It then hit me that Naomi, she’s a person who loves hard or not at all, there’s no in between. And she LOVES Paul. Soooo much, and its something we saw more of in the weeks prior to their wedding day. Paul, get ready for Naomi to smother you with love, and get ready for all the late nights laughing at stupid things together.
Paul and Naomi’s wedding day was a labor of love. Naomi and her family worked so hard to make this day unbelievably beautiful. As I was thinking about this blog post, I was having a hard time wrapping my mind around how I could possibly put my feelings into words. I just can’t find a way to do this day justice in a few paragraphs. Our baby sister is married, Diana’s little brother is married. The babies that always thought the were “the favorites” are now each others favorite person.
The Arizona Biltmore was such a gorgeous resort for the couple to get ready at and do their first look at. Such a modern, romantic and classy resort. Everything from the gray, palace-like structure, to their newly renovated rooms, you need to check them out!
Naomi and Paul, I love you so much. Your wedding day was more amazing than I could have imagined, and it was an such an honor to serve you and love you as your photographer! Alex, Abbie, Addison, and I love you both and we can’t wait to see you when you get back from your TWO honeymoons!
Before I go on posting all the photos I would love to give a humongous THANK YOU to Monica Stanley and Jeni Barbush for their help. You allowed me to sit down and enjoy the ceremony, and be part of the reception with my family! It really took a village, and I’m so happy I had you two in my corner! 🙂
